The Oxford Technology Park is an 8.2 hectare (21.5 acre) campus with planning consent for B1(a) Office, B1(b) Research & Development, B2 General Industrial and B8 Warehouse uses.

Angus has twenty-five years experience in the property industry in the UK and Europe, with eighteen years as a property developer and as the founding principle of the Hill Street Holdings group of companies. With an in-depth knowledge of the construction and property development process, Angus has extensive experience in the management of a busy multi-disciplined property company; specialising in the development from the initial planning phase through to the sales and lettings process in the commercial office, industrial and mixed use sectors.
Angus has a strong interest in sustainability issues having built extensive energy efficient residential and commercial buildings. As well as a proven long term ability to manage complex commercial development projects, including building a suitable professional team. As a qualified Chartered surveyor Angus works closely with clients to complete a project to their specific requirements on time and within budget.


Lauren Bates

Hill Street Holdings

Lauren is passionate about buildings spaces fit for 21st century work, technology and business. Lauren is excited to see the first occupiers arriving soon after having been closely involved in the master-planning, and design processes across the Park and she is certainly keen to progress the next phase of construction as scheduled.

Her experience in property ranges across planning, finance modelling, construction, commercial and residential development. Lauren particularly enjoys engaging with occupiers and translating their requirements into space-plan designs.

Lauren’s interdisciplinary approach to the built environment and its interaction with the science and technology ecosystem via the people working and living within the space is founded in her bachelors degree in Environmental Science from Queen Mary, University of London, followed by her Masters degree in Environmental Technology from Imperial College, London.


Placi Espejo

From being involved in running the family business since an early age to, getting start-ups ready for investment, Placi certain loves the buzz of making a difference by supporting entrepreneurship.

Placi has worked on local Economic Development, Tech Transfer, Global Programmes promoting entrepreneurship across the world, establishing new commercial eco-system to nurture innovative companies and is an experienced mentor with Entrepreneur Societies, local Accelerators and Schools, she is also a Deputy Chairman for Oxfordshire Business First, a not-for-profit organisation set up to address the need of enabling business people to learn from other business people, promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in Oxfordshire, by helping individual businesses to overcome obstacles to growth, the outcome will be a positive impact on our county’s economy.

Placi is looking forward to building new meaningful relationships with a variety of stakeholders from the local innovation eco-systems, local suppliers and the local vibrant community, she is also keen to provide strategic direction to help Oxford Technology Park grow and its occupiers thrive.
