Building 1 takes shape

Due for completion in Summer 2021, Building One will be a landmark building for Oxford, combining flexibility for office, laboratory and R&D use with the highest standards of internal finish and a striking contemporary design.

Situated on the entrance into Oxford Technology Park, adjacent to Native Antigen’s Headquarters, this prestigious building will offer 34,125 sq.ft. of flexible space, available to let in suites from 4,140 sq.ft.

Fitted as Grade A office accommodation, the space will be enabled for laboratory/R&D uses, with turnkey, fit-out packages available, befitting the Park’s position at the forefront of Oxford’s science based revolution.

The Innovation Quarter
- Oxford’s new centre of excellence

Aimed at accommodating the rapid growth of Oxford’s technology companies, the Innovation Quarter will comprise 11 two-storey buildings of striking contemporary design, from 5,160 sq.ft. to 7,045 sq.ft. available individually or in combination.

Each unit will provide highly flexible space to suit the varied needs of technology and science-based occupiers. Ground floors will be presented in a shell format with heating/cooling and ready for tenant’s further fit-out, capable of use for the full range of laboratory, R&D and light production purposes. First floors will be finished to a Grade A office specification but can be readily adapted to technical uses if required

Oxford Technology Park is a major new science and technology park poised to provide much needed Office and Research & Development space at the heart of Oxfordshire’s A34 Knowledge Economy spine.

Strategically located to the north of Oxford, the Park will comprise a range of office and high-technology buildings, together with a newly constructed 101 bedroom hotel and restaurant.

Commanding a prominent position on the entrance into the Park, Building One will comprise a landmark three-storey office building, combining contemporary design with a high standard of internal fitting.  Designed to provide the highest quality Grade A offices, the building will also be readily adaptable to laboratory or research use.

The building as a whole will extend to 2,811 sq.m. (30,258 sq.ft.) net internal and offer flexibility for subdivision into individual suites from approximately 5,000 sq.ft.

A 100 car space allocation will be provided.

Hi-tech buildings

Buildings 3, 5a & 5b will provide high specification and adaptable high technology space, designed to meet the varied and changing needs of the dynamic innovation sector. The “first of its kind” in Oxfordshire, these are buildings for the future that can evolve to the ever changing requirements of the innovation market.  The hi-tech buildings will provide a contemporary office style frontage but with flexible internal space allowing the office content of buildings to vary from 25 to 50% to suit an occupier’s requirements.  The result will be a contemporary design befitting a Grade A office building but with internal functionality to suit the occupier’s exact needs.

The specification will include:

  • 8 m eaves height
  • Office areas provided to high quality finish including VRV mixed mode comfort cooling
  • Passenger lift to first floor offices
  • 35kN/m sq floor loading to workshop area
  • 3 phase electric supply with 200kVa capacity per unit
  • Water, gas and drainage supplied to the building
  • Up to 3 loading doors (4.8m x 3.0m)
