Oxford Technology Park an Exhibition Partner at UK PROP FEST 2021

Oxford Technology Park was delighted to be an exhibition partner of the UK PROP FEST 2021, which took place on Thursday 9 September at Bicester Motion.

The UK Prop Fest was a unique event that brought together the property, science and innovation community from the Arc, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire regions. Offering one day of networking, knowledge-sharing and celebration.

There was a full program of guest speakers from thought leaders who are making the decisions on the future of the region to speakers with different views and solutions which reflect our changing world. There was also exclusive tours of the Bicester Motion development plans and the unique environment of which is Bicester Heritage.

Alongside the talks and tours there was time for visitors to meet and network with exhibitors at the Expo. Oxford Technology Park exhibited with owner and developers, Angus and Lauren Bates in attendance to talk about the exciting developments at the park, as well as answer questions visitors had on the new space and opportunities that are available for in Building One and the Innovation Quarter.

A selection of companies, that accompanied Oxford Technology Park in the Expo, included: Advanced Oxford, Bidwells, Bicester Motion, Buckinghamshire Carter Jonas, Cherwell District Council, Dev Comms, Harwell Campus, Edgars, Milton Park, Mode Oxford North (TWO), OxLEP, Ridge, RLB, Savills, Sky Wave Gin, Willmott Dixon.

The day was followed by the prestigious, OxPropFest 2021 Awards – a simple but effective way of saying – Well done, to the winning schemes and people in the industry.

The UK Prop Fest 2021 was held in Hangar 113, a unique indoor venue at Bicester Motion, offering an impressive location, excellent access, dramatic roof structure and flexible event space. It is well-known for being a 1936 Grade II listed WW2 Hangar, that has been used for events by Aston Martin, BMW, McLaren and various automotive magazines. It was also used as a film location for ‘Darkest Hour’ and Batman’s ‘Pennyworth’.
