Oxford Technology Park named finalist in OxPropFest Awards 2022
Oxford Technology Park has been named a finalist in the OxPropFest Awards 2022 in the Best Commercial Development category, for Building Three – the impressive high-tech purpose-built R&D and manufacturing facility, which will be a vital hub for LGC’s The Native Antigen Company (TNAC).
The award, sponsored by Bicester Arc, was looking for new development projects in the industrial, science and office sectors that could demonstrate the buildings have matched the client’s brief and are part of the local plan to generate new income for Oxfordshire including a strong approach to sustainability in the overall project.
Building Three – the new 49,000 sq ft two-storey building at Oxford Technology Park, which possesses a sleek design frontage, 48 car parking spaces with ten EV charging points and accommodates a mixture of bespoke laboratory, Grade A office and logistic operations and now home to TNAC, one of the world’s leading suppliers of reagents enabling research into diagnostics and vaccines for emerging and endemic infectious diseases matches the criteria perfectly.
UK Property Forums managing director and organiser of the awards, Matthew Battle said:
“This year has been a vintage one with a record number of submissions for OxPropFest Awards. Judging was a real challenge and this made the compilation of the shortlist very difficult as the quality and range of submissions was so high. However, this also reflects the depth of property, design and construction skills across Oxfordshire. All I can say now is roll on September 14 for the announcement of the winners at OxPropFest 22 at Bicester Motion.”
Oxford Technology Park is in good company for the award with Bee House, Milton Park, OSE, The Oxford Science Park and Tungsten Park, Witney also shortlisted in the category.
Winners of the awards will be announced at the prestigious OxPropFest Gala Dinner and Award ceremony on Wednesday 14 September, held in Hangar 113 at Bicester Motion. For more information and to book you tickets visit the OxPropFest website.
