Oxford Technology Park (OTP), in partnership with occupier Oxford Gene Technology (OGT), is proud to announce the sponsorship of an ox sculpture for the highly anticipated OxTrail 2024.
The trail will feature over 30 beautifully crafted ox sculptures displayed across the city, providing a unique and enjoyable art experience for the community.
For eight weeks, visitors and locals alike can explore the streets of Oxford to discover the colorful and creatively designed oxen. The event is designed to be fun, family-friendly, and completely free, making it accessible to everyone.
After the trail concludes, the sculptures will be auctioned off to raise funds for Sobell House Hospice, an organisation that provides expert and compassionate end-of-life care to around 3,000 families each year, along with support for their loved ones and friends.
Ian Harris, Director of Asset Management at Ironstone Asset Management, the Investment Advisor to Life Science REIT and owners of OTP, said: “Our sponsored ox represents not only a celebration of art and community but also a commitment to supporting Sobell House’s mission. We’re excited to join forces with our occupiers, OGT in sponsoring the Ox to help bring this vibrant event to life. It’s a wonderful opportunity to engage with the community and help raise funds for such a meaningful cause.”
