Now in their twelve year, the awards have become a much-anticipated event on the business calendar. Having established a solid reputation within the North Oxfordshire business community for showcasing and celebrating the achievements of individuals and organisations working within the Cherwell District.
As sponsor of the Innovation Award, we are looking for businesses based in the Cherwell district that have introduced an innovative product, process, service or business method within the last 3 years and can demonstrate:
- How “open innovation” and collaboration may have been relevant.
- A clearly written description of the innovation in the product, process, business model or service and its background.
- A plan for continued future implementation and development of the innovation.
- The innovation can be shown to have had a demonstrable actual and projected quantifiable operational benefit for example in: –
- Sales Turnover/Profit Growth
- Cost reduction
- Reduction in delivery days or stock holding
- Customer satisfaction
- Staff efficiency and satisfaction

The deadline for nominations is 1 May 2024 and the application deadline is 29 May 2024.
During June and July 2024 all applications will be assessed and judged, with the finalists announced in July 2024. Winners will be announced at the prestigious Awards Gala Dinner to be held at Chesterton Hotel on 13 September 2024.
