Oxford Expression Technologies move to Oxford Technology Park

Oxford Expression Technologies Limited move to IQ9 at Oxford Technology Park, spanning 5,600 sq.ft. across two floors, lab and office space.

Oxford Technology Park is pleased to welcome Oxford Expression Technologies (OET) to the community as the company establishes its new base within the Innovation Quarter.

Relocating from the Bioinnovation Hub at Oxford Brookes University, OET has taken occupancy of IQ9, a two-storey Innovation Quarter unit comprising 5,552 sq. ft. The ground floor has been delivered in shell format with CL2 laboratory capabilities, while the first floor has been completed to a Grade A office specification. A bespoke design and fit-out has been undertaken throughout to accommodate OET’s requirements, supporting its advanced R&D activities and the next stage of its growth.

OET is recognised globally as a centre of excellence in Baculovirus protein expression, providing specialist products, services, and consultancy to the international pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.

Ian Harris, Director of Asset Management at Ironstone Asset Management, the Company’s Investment Adviser, said:

OET is exactly the sort of growing, entrepreneurial business that we had in mind when the IQ was established. With a range of formats and sizes, OTP can cater to the demands of new businesses throughout their life cycle, so we look forward to working with OET as their business develops.”

Linda King, Founder, OET said:

“After a number of years based in Oxford Brookes’ Bioinnovation Hub, everyone at OET is delighted to be relocating to OTP in summer 2025.  We will be moving into a fantastic facility expertly designed for our bespoke needs, which will benefit our staff, our customers and collaborators. The OTP site provides everything we need to support the continued growth and success of OET.”
